| The Cicely Northcote Trust is a small
Lambeth-based charity that cares about the health and social needs
of local people.
At present we have a small office in Vauxhall and one part-time
member of staff.
We have an annual income which is large enough to help set up new
projects.
The Trust has been working in Lambeth since 1909 and in that time
we have been involved in many new developments which are now common
practice nationally.
Our mission statement
To initiate, encourage, monitor, evaluate and publish innovative
projects relating to social care and the associated health needs
of local people in Lambeth and Southwark.
What we do
 |
We look for gaps in the services provided for local people.
Normally these are in health or social care. |
 |
We generally work in partnership with statutory and voluntary
organisations to achieve our aims. |
 |
We would like to hear from
you if you know about a local need and have ideas on how
to meet this. |
 |
Before you submit a proposal you may like to discuss it with
us, we are always pleased to talk things over and explore your
ideas. |
 |
When a proposal is accepted we will help prepare a business
plan, set up, administer and evaluate it. We may also have access
to the resources required and, if necessary, will help to look
for alternative sources of funding. |
What we do not do
 |
We are not a grant giving Trust. |
 |
We do not support existing services or those which should
be provided by the statutory authorities. |
 |
We do not give grants or scholarships to individual applicants. |
