2027 Grants Applications are NOW OPEN

THE CICELY NORTHCOTE TRUST GRANT FOCUS 2027 IS ‘FOOD’

The cost, the low nutritional value of available food and scarce opportunities to grow food are very evident today and people’s health is suffering as a result.

Our grants for 2027 will go to projects that address any of these problems. For example, budgeting, cooking, teaching, sharing recipes, using spaces to grow vegetables, in areas where none of these activities already exist - and other imaginative activities - will be considered in order that participants EAT WELL.

Funding will be in the region of £5-10K for 1 or 2 years from March 2027. Organisations with annual income above £250K will not be eligible. Neither will organisations whose sole purpose is the purchase or distribution of food be eligible.

APPLICATION DEADLINE.

Tuesday 15th December 2026.

NB The Office will be closed from mid-November to mid- December.

During this period no acknowledgement of submission receipt will be sent out and any initial queries from us regarding incomplete applications (etc.) will be early in January 2027

Shortlisted project applications will be invited to a second stage interview with a Trustee Panel late January/early February. Date TBC
