Current Project

Archbishop's Park Community Trust

The project is to provide gardening club sessions for isolated and vulnerable adults. The Friday gardening club welcomes local residents, but their charitable objectives are also to support vulnerable adults dealing with mental health issues; those with a physical disability or live on low incomes. 80% of the participants live alone and attend the gardening club because of isolation and the need to engage with others, learn new skills and keep mentally and physically active.

Lambeth Elderly Association from Vietnam

The project Better Together is designed to support older people in and around Lambeth to ward off inactivity and/or isolation by offering weekly Tai Chi classes and a home befriending scheme. This project aim to tackle loneliness and isolation among community members as some of the community members are particularly vulnerable to isolation, with their age, ethnicity, deprivation and health status all being contributing factors.

Share Community

This project runs a social inclusion project led by and for adults with learning disabilities and autism in Lambeth and Southwark. It will enable disabled and autistic adults to enjoy activities non-disabled and neurotypical people take for granted e.g. going clubbing, watching or taking part in sport and eating out. The project will compliment statutory services, taking an innovative approach which is centred around independence and autonomy.
